Joel Cousins
He / Him - Artistic Director
As one of the two Artistic Directors for Gritty Gaze, Joel has a hand in overviewing all of our projects and productions. With a dedication to infuse a fresh perspective to contemporary storytelling, he consistently aims to cultivate a lasting and meaningful impact on our audiences.
Tyler Kane
He / Him - Artistic Director
As one of the two artistic directors for gritty gaze, Tyler oversees and directs each of our contrived curiosities. Fascinated by the strange and the quirky, he aims to push the boundaries of theatre through a new artistic lens.
Oliver Richmond
He / They - Producer
As the producer for Gritty Gaze, Oliver works closely with the whole team to ensure everything runs smoothly. His tasks include administrative activities such as booking venues, managing our calendar and doing whatever is necessary to bring our creations to life. Oliver also contributes to the creative process by assisting in devising, writing, and acting.
John Forrester
He / Him - Stage Manager
Taking on the role of stage manager along side Amy, John is responsible for organising props and making sure everything runs accordingly in between scenes, keeping transitions as smooth as possible. Amongst other things John also has a hand in the creative process, helping with devising, writing and acting.

She / Her - Stage Manager

Hannah Shaw
She / Her - Marketing & PR
As Marketing & PR coordinator, Hannah crafts engaging content for our website, distributes flyers and posters, and nurtures relationships with customers and press. Her mission: to spotlight our eccentric creations and elevate recognition for the Gritty Gaze brand.
